“bogged down”

Earlier in the week, I was feeling a bit “bogged down” and overwhelmed with my “To-Do” lists. After speaking to some business partners and really doing some Self-Examination, I came to the conclusion of what it’s going to take to regain my creative juices and open up the channels of productivity and focus.

    Hey Molly,
I can totally agree with you about clutter, of the mind and house! Right before the holidays I went through my spare room and the walk in closet that you could no longer walk into(hehe)and tackled that big job! After that task (which was eating on my mind) I was able to rock out 2 new blog posts for my blog and got my butt out there and made my new video for my blog launch!

This is such a great post to share with others… Thanks for sharing with us!

      Christina,

Totally! It’s crazy how when we get those “nagging” things out of the way how much better we can pour into our creative work;)

      Thanks for the comment!

If I weren’t in network marketing I would probably be a professional organizer. I LOVE to organize, and almost got a little OCD for a while until my hubby was like “UM, you don’t HAVE to go that far with organizing”. Boy was he right!

But I totally hear you on the filing thing. I love my system now that I have. I used to have a basket and I would let it pile for things to file and it would literally take days to get it cleared out. But now I have 6 file boxes in a cabinet with like 1/4 inch of space above them…so I can only stuff so much in there before I have to do something about it :).

Great post and I feel the same as you when I get all those papers taken care of!

      Roz,

Wanna come over and organize my house? lol. No, I’m actually the same way but I have my days of letting things slide!
Sounds like you have a great system Roz;)

      Thanks for the comment!

Great advice Molly, and this is the perfect time of year to go through all of your 2010 stuff and clear a path for 2011.

It is important to have a ‘system’, like Roz does, to keep you organized and uncluttered. It is amazing the difference it can make in your productivity.

    Thanks for the great advice.

    Hi Molly!

What a awesome video to start the new year!!! Girl I can so relate!

For the most part I have what folks call organized chaos, lol. So nice neat piles – EVERYWHERE! It’s my office that I have the hardest time with because I’m constantly grabbing books, etc and moving them around!

You are so right on about clearing clutter to be more inspired and have a more prosperous business. I definitely work best when things are organized. One of my issues is that I can’t cook unless all the dishes are cleaned in the kitchen! It will drive me nuts!

Now I just need to get like that in the office, ha!

Thanks for sharing such great advice. 🙂

Thanks for these great tips Molly! This is my complete weakness as a business owner and individual. You’ve provided me with a couple of great things to think about and put in place for the new year. Remove the clutter – my new motto. Thanks Molly!
