How to Gain TRUE Freedom in ALL Areas of Your Life

Nov 30, 2013 | Personal Growth, Posts B.C. (Before Challenge), Uncategorized | 20 comments

The opposite of freedom is bondage, and gaining true freedom in all areas of your life can mean the difference between success and failure.

In the book “9 Things You Simply Must do to Succeed in Love and Life” By Dr. Henry Cloud, I discovered this one thing that gave me an absolute “ah ha!” moment.

Watch this video to see what I discovered about finding true freedom…

Thanks Molly great post and we do need to take responsiblilty for our own mistakes. I heard a saying once and I think it went like this.
LOOK AT YOURSELF IN A MIRROR AND GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE CAUSE YOUR EYES ARE STUCK.

Hi Molly – thanks so much for this inspiring and encouraging video and topic. I don’t generally blame outright, but I have been known to let things that are holding me back stay in the present. I need to do more of putting it aside and taking personal responsibility. My new (and addition to my list) goal for 2011 is to take back my Freedom in several areas. I would not have thought about it this way before your video – so thank you for this great post. It really has inspired me!

      Awesome Scott!

It sounds like this message really resonated with you and I’m so glad to attribute to your growth in this area! I think taking back your FREEDOM is one of the greatest goals I’ve heard so far (in regards to New Year resolutions).

Happy to inspire Scott, I’m going to head over to read your latest post now as well!

I completely agree with you and Dr. Cloud. It is our everyday decisions and actions that got us to where we are today and it is our everyday decisions and actions that will take us to where we want to go … or not. The choice, and the responsibility, is ours. 🙂

Rob, you mean like me? Ha ha. I think some of it is habits, mostly “programmed” thinking
patterns brought on by past circumstances I’m sure.

Thanks for the comment and support Rob!

ROCKING post girl! You are absolutely right on target. Personal responsibility = personal freedom. It sounds a little gut wrenching to someone just stepping into personal development and inner growth but man, oh man… it is the key to true freedom, peace and happiness.

Loved it girl! Thank you! 🙂

This is one of the reasons why I LOVE the VIP Challengers…Amanda Marie does a specific video just on this on our team website and really digs deep like you do and gets really REAL with you. You HAVE to forgive and move past whatever happened in why you are in the situation you are in to move forward. Love it girl, solid!

    Molly,

This is a great message you share here. Yes, taking back your power by assuming full reponsibility for your life is so liberating. I finally realized that a few years ago and it’s been great. I still do have to set my ego aside at times, though.

    Thanks for the inspiration,

    Karen

Isn’t life amazing when we become our own Santa Claus…Molly points well taken, you know another good thing about forgiving and forgetting is it keeps us proactive.
